I am a creative and crafty person by nature.. but mostly I am just very cheap. I will do anything to save a buck, espcially now having my son.
In light of numerous friends of mine joining the mom club, I thought I’d share two of my favorite money saving recycled hacks!
1. Plastic baby food jars make awesome baby tupperwear!
Our old sitter turned us onto this and I dont know what I would do without them to be honest. I put his cereal in them for traveling, I pack his lunch in them, If you make your own baby food you can store and freeze them, I even use them for my bobby pins ha. I use these things for everything.
Just take of the label, throw them in the dish washer, and they are ready for use!
2. Breast milk storage containers make traveling with formula so much easier!
Im sure there are containers out there already, but this has been my serious life saving hack. I can fit the exact amount of formula in this for a 6oz bottle. It makes it easier to get a bottle ready when you’re in a hurry or in a bind while traveling with a baby. You can quicky empty out the pre-measured exact amount and move on with your day. I recieved these from the Dr. Bag the obgyn gives you. Sometimes the big formula brands send them out with formula as well. I believe these are for storing breast milk. I love them because they hardly take up any space and were free! Free and useful are key here!
Hope you all enjoyed!
